Steps for Increasing RAM of Samsung Galaxy Y
Step 1
Run the game, application or just start that particular thing for which you want to capture the screenshot.
Step 2
Now press the Home button and while holding it quickly press down the Power button within 1 second only. When incorrectly done, you will view Task-Manager window as shown below

Next, release the Power button and then just after half second release the Home button too.
Step 4
Now you will hear some sound like of a camera and view a flash message of successful snapshot. For e.g. Image file saved, or like Screen captured, etc.
Step 5
The screenshot will be saved in some newly formed image folder with JPEG, or simply JPG format.
